PD Security Shutters provides warranty coverage against defects in:
Materials
Manufacturing
Workmanship (where installation is performed by us)
Warranty period varies by product type.
Unless otherwise specified:
Aluminium Frames – 5 Years
Powder Coating – 3 Years
Locks & Hardware – 1 Year
Roller Shutter Components – 3–5 Years (model dependent)
Installation Workmanship – 1 Year
Warranty period begins from date of installation or delivery.
This warranty covers:
Structural failure due to manufacturing defects
Faulty hardware supplied by us
Installation issues where installed by our team
We will repair, replace, or rectify the defective product at our discretion.
Warranty does not cover:
Misuse, forced damage, or break-ins
Accidental damage
Normal wear and tear
Damage caused by third-party installation
Incorrect measurements provided by customer
Corrosion due to extreme environmental exposure without maintenance
Modifications made after installation
To maintain warranty validity:
Products must be cleaned regularly
Hinges and locks must be maintained
Moving parts should not be tampered with
Failure to maintain products may void warranty.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to:
Replacement or refund for major failure
Repair or replacement for minor failure
This warranty is provided in addition to your statutory rights.
